SPOT BROWSER 2 ACCELERATES DISCOVERY OF PROGNOSIS MARKERS IN COLON CANCER. More |
|
| The
new generation of Tissue Array Analyzer for even faster
and simpler analysis |
Tissue Array are now becoming
a really new tool to study large numbers of tissues, whether
you are looking at morphology, immunohistochemistry or
in situ hybridization.
Analysis of these numerous tissues under microscope is
a tedious and error-generating task. Moreover, data processing
becomes rather complex due to the large volume of data
to be analysed.
For many months now, SPOT BROWSER® has been
bringing to the pathologists an elegant, simple and efficient
solution to these issues and overcomes these limitations.
SPOT BROWSER® is a dedicated image analysis workstation
integrated on microscope, visualizing and capturing images
through colour CCD camera and using a motorised stage.
It allows rapid scanning of the tissue array to build
the road map, assignment of defined coordinates to tissue
spots to guarantee a total tracking and provides a user's
interface for pathologist's visual inspection conclusions
input and short keys for fast and easy tissue array browsing.

can be exported
readily to Excel for further data processing.
ALPHELYS introduces now its SPOT BROWSER® V2,
its new generation of automated analyzer for tissue arrays.
This new realease accelerates tissue array analysis and
brings new functionalities like objects detection and
signal quantitation. SPOT BROWSER® V2 facilite
la consultation post-analyse des données collectées
image et information. |
|
| Simplified experiment configuration |
SPOT BROWSER® V2 simplifies
tissue array analysis parameters configuration.
SPOT BROWER® V2 allows you to analyse your
tissue arrays either through visual inspection on the
oculars or on the high resolution screen or through automated
detection of specific events like nuclei counting, signal
quantitation, surface determination, morphometry or both
methods simultaneously.
Identify your slide, your experiment and the operator.
Create data input fields for visual inspection (not limited)
with a choice of free or list mode entry i.e. grading
+/++/+++/-.
Create events to be detected automatically and run a simple
rtouine to learn the software what to detect. |

| Flexible grid
system for coordinates assignment |
SPOT BROWSER® V2 assigns
precise coordinates on each tissue spot (i.e. block 1,
spot A1...) eliminating any risk of errors while browsing
your tissue array.
The flexible grid system of SPOT BROWSER® V2 easily
handles any format of tissue arrays, with or without sub-grids,
of different formats, even when tissue arrays are heavily
deformed.
Each grid and sub-grid can be named and saved as a template
for use in the next analysis of the same format.
SPOT BROWSER® V2 records precisely the micrometered
position of each spot in the tissue array at user specified
magnification. You may then easily process an analysis
in multiple steps over time, as many as you want.
SPOT BROWSER® V2 creates a road map of the tissue
array at low magnification. The road map is dynamically
linked to the video live image |

spot of tissue thourgh a simple mouse click into the road
map without getting lost, even when at high magnification. |
|
| User defined
interface for tissue array visual inspection conclusions
imput |
As in the routine job, most
of the analysis done in morphology or in IHC can be only
performed reliably by visual inspection. SPOT BROWSER®
V2 provides a fully user defined interface to allow
on line visual inspection conclusions entry into dedicated
fields.
This user's interface has been optimised in collaboration
with the pathology laboratory of Paoli CALMETTES Institute
of Cancer Research (Marseille, France), Dr Jocelyne JACQUEMIER,
well experimented pathologits on tissue arrays analysis.
The data input are extremely fast, with automated data
saving, spot image capture at observationmagnification
and next spot browsing. SPOT BROWSER® V2 reduces
workload and makes tissue array data easily processable. |

|
| Automated detection
of events |
SPOT BROWSER® V2
allows simultaneous visual inspection data input and events
automated detection with automated results saving into
dedicated tables.
Operator can easily choose between those two options of
analysis through short keys.
The SPOT BROWSER® Technology allows detection
of events on a non-captured images for faster analysis
procedure. |

|
| Analysis results
and images archiving |
Results of tissue array analysis
and tissue spots images are archived into tables that
ensure the link with tissue spots ID for a guaranteed
tracking.
The data base can be readily exported to Excel sheet with
export routine or to .csv and .txt files.
When using automated detection of morphometry tools, all
drawings generated are automatically saved together with
the image of the spot and their relative position preserved
at the specified magnification for later analysis control.
Images can be improved and annotated. |

|
| Analysis results
and spots images consultation |
Tissue array analysis results
and spots images can be reviewed at any time after analysis
has occured and without the slide from the local or distant
computer.
Reviewing a tissue array analysis with the related slide
under the microscope allows rapid relocation of the spots
through dynamic link between tables and spot position
to visualise again the spot together with the results
obtained for possible control and modification. |

all analysis data and captured images and can be print
any time without particular configuration. |
